WEBINAR: Advanced Carbon Sequestration Technologies
June 12, 2009
This webinar featured two cutting-edge, advanced technologies that are making permanent sequestration of CO2 a realistic vision.
The first technology, Raytheon's revolutionary (patent-pending) aerogel "CO2 Sequestering Technology," utilizes advanced nanocatalyst and RF technologies pared with supercritical fluid principles. This technology improves the basic underground sequestering approach by preventing the gas from leaking into the atmosphere. Read more about the technology here.
- John Cogliandro, Senior Program Manager, Raytheon IDS, Mission Innovation
The second technology, Integrated Environmental Services' innovative (patent-pending) "Carbon Positive CO2 Reduction Technology," breaks down CO2 at the emission point sources into the valuable end products of graphite and oxygen. Read more about the technology here.
