The launch July 16 of CleanTech TV at the Capitol Hill CleanTech Expo '09 featured a one-hour "CleanTech Investment Roundtable" Forum.

The panel featured Bill Kovacs of the U.S. Chamber, Robert Frick fo Kiplinger's, Jim Lucier of Capital Alpha Partners, Frank Prautzsch of Raytheon and Rob Gordon of the Heritage Foundation. 

Moderated by Jim Sims, the CEO of the Western Business Roundtable, the panelists discussed issues related to investment in clean technology development, what government policies can best stimulate investment and which technologies are the  most promising for rapid commercialization.

CapitolThe Capitol Hill CleanTech Expo '09, hosted by the Western Business Roundtable and NextGen Energy Council, was held in Washington, D.C. on July 16.

The Expo showcased the technologies and innovations of some 26 different companies.
 
The day-long event hosted representatives from 109 Congressional offices from 40 different states, as well as representatives from dozens of companies, trade associations, media outlets and Congressional and governmental offices.
